| Accessibility We are committed to making our website accessible to all our customers and have an ongoing programme of making useful updates and improvements. We have already introduced several improvements to our website in accordance with guidelines from the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and will continue to make changes over time. CSS We have produced this site using css ‘stylesheet’. Access keys Generally not recommended due to the conflict with assistive technology, although we have decided to use the ‘0’ key to take you to this page only. To use the access keys on Microsoft Windows based systems press the ALT key and the appropriate access key. On Macintosh systems use the CTRL key instead. Text size You can change the text size on our site to make it either larger or smaller via your browser settings. Some browsers allow you to magnify the whole page. To change the text size, follow the instructions below depending on which browser you are using: Internet Explorer
A consistent heading structure has been used so that page information is compatible with access technology. Contrasting colours We have taken care to ensure that foreground and background colours on the site contrast effectively. If you want to override the site's colours, you can do this by changing your browser settings. Alternative text for graphics All graphics and images contain descriptive alt tag attributes (alternative text). Where an image has no importance, the alt tag is set to null to make the site easier to read by all users. Descriptive links All links have been written to make sense when taken out of context. Where appropriate, we have also added information to let you know if the link will open a new window or if additional software is required to view. Browsers The following browsers have been tested for compatibility: Internet Explorer (Windows) v8 v7 and v6, Firefox (Windows and Mac) v3.5 - v2.0, Safari (Mac) v4.0, Chrome v3.0 |
